  1. #1 is definitely your best photo. Great composition, great textures, great contrast, cool effect with the smoke. The framing of your other photos isn't quite as good, but #5 comes close.

  3. I really like the composition of #1. I also like how the smoke is creating another effect of the picture. I also really like the lighting on #2.

  5. the second one from the bottom is definetly the most interesting. I would say try and get more interesting angles of your subject matter. They all seem pretty straight on.

  7. #1 is my favorite. I'd probably pick #4 next. They seem very real and true to the person.

  8. The first one is probably the best. They are all really good, but the first has a little extra because of the smoke running from in front of the mans eyes. Its very appealing to eye.

  9. I really like #5, his expression is, like you were saying, really fun.

I also like #4. It seems to encompass every college student, with just one person.

  10. I think the first photo and the last photo are both great images. In the first, the smoke creates a really interesting composition. The last photo stood out to me as really honest and like you actually captured a part of who she is as a person. She seems to be trying to say something to the viewer.

  11. I like #5. The lighting is great, and the details like the wear on his hat add so much.

  12. the first, second, fifth and sixth are my favorites. your male roommate seems comfortable being himself while you take images, which results in representations that feel real and sincere. the last image of your other roommate feels real as well. the second to last image seems most effective in all categories, including lighting, contrast, composition, expression, emotion, and interest.

  13. The last one is interesting because it feels like that person could be in the room with me. I really read that these photos are about the subject.
